Worthington PSD issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
We just couldn't be prouder. In the last 3 weeks we have had 8 music ensemble members from the WHS Varsity Choir, WHS Concert Choir, and WHS Orchestra participate in Minnesota Honors ensembles.
Each of these 8 musicians had to audition and be scored to be named to these prestigious groups. We had 5 choral members perform with the ACDA 9th and 10th Grade Choirs, 2 of our WHS Concert Choir performed in the MN All-State Mixed Chorus and MN All-State SSAA Chorus, and 1 performed with the MN All-State Orchestra.
Amazing experiences for all involved. Extremely appreciative of a supportive administration that provides these experiences to our students, along with many thanks to the talented and dedicated teaching staff from Kindergarten on to inspire them all. Bravo! #518whs #518whsmusic
